Wooden floor
Based on the type of goods you need to haul, you can rent a reefer box truck made of a wooden floor. This type of floor is breathable and best for hauling goods with air circulation needs. It is also a super material for providing support and absorbing shock especially if the ride is not as smooth.
Metallic Floor
While a wooden floor might not be as durable as you need, you could alternatively opt for a metallic one. Even with friction from pulling cargo, the floor will not easily develop scratch marks or get damaged. However, it does not leave spaces in-between and as such, might not be a great option if your cargo requires airflow during transit.
Single Temperature Trucks
Based on functionality, single-temperature box trucks are the most common. The temperature in the cargo space area is even throughout and the refrigeration equipment is mostly front-fixed. While this kind of design has a wide selection of temperature ranges, they are commonly used for hauling freight with similar temperature requirements.
Multiple Temperature Trucks
An alternative to the single-temp design is the multi-temp design which is used for hauling cargo with varying temperature requirements. For instance, if you deal in supplying a wide range of temperature-sensitive goods with totally different hauling conditions, a multiple-temperature box truck would be a great choice.
Thermo King
A common reefer box truck brand among Renters on COOP is Thermo King. In fact, the brand has been globally recognized as a top reefer truck manufacturer. Its refrigerated box trucks are reliable, durable, and widely suited for different hauling functions. The T-90 series is very common, innovatively engineered with some of the best high-tech features.
Freightliner
Fuel economy is one of the most vital features business owners look at before renting a reefer truck. Freightliner perfectly delivers this through the aerodynamic design which makes driving its trucks easy and seamless. They are also very efficient, and to check and rent available Freightliner reefer box trucks in New York City, join COOP today.
Isuzu
With Isuzu, you can expect enough storage, top-notch performance, and durability. Also, most Isuzu reefer box trucks have a temperature range of +15 to -25 degrees and the Isuzu 700P is a popular model under this brand. The structure is great, with good body flooring and panel insulation, etc.
Don't just take our word, hear what COOP customers have to say about our platform.
“The supply of short-term rental trucks was almost impossible. COOP was able to help by connecting us to equipment Owners that weren’t utilizing their fleets.”

Transporting goods and cargo from one location to another can be challenging, especially when it comes to ground and road transportation. Renting a commercial trailer or truck can be a huge asset to your business of moving items. Renting provides flexibility to select the best vehicle based on capacity, payload, and fuel economy. By renting commercial trucks or trailers for road transport, you manage logistics more efficiently while freeing up your time to focus on more pressing business matters.
As a food service distributor and restaurant supply, delivering your products on time and in good condition is your business's success metric. To ensure your deliveries are efficient and reliable, renting a commercial vehicle gives you an edge. Commercial trucks and trailers allow you to transport more products at once, making deliveries more cost-effective. With seasonal fluctuations in the market, you can always have the right sized vehicle with the appropriate storage and temperature control needed to deliver perishable goods.
Many construction companies rely on rented trucks and commercial trailers to move raw materials such as concrete and lumber. However, warehouse and distribution companies involved in the concrete industry also rely on transportation to deliver raw materials and finished products through the production cycle. Having the right vehicle available to rent at the right time lowers cost and keeps deliveries on time.
In the Cross Dock sector, renting commercial trucks and trailers maximizes the efficiency of the logistics process. This flexibility allows businesses to rapidly move goods between transport vehicles without the need for storage, reducing time and costs. In fast paced business environments, having the right vehicles available streamlines operations, allowing for quick turnaround and efficient handling of goods.
