Light Duty Box Trucks
Light duty box trucks resemble cargo vans and are also referred to as cutaway vans or cube vans. While they are shaped like a box at the back, they look like cargo vans in the front and most of them have a minimum load capacity of 8500lbs and a maximum of 14,500lbs. With an engine of 12mpg and about 30 gallons, light duty box trucks are highly convenient considering the fact that they are used for carrying light loads.
Medium Duty Box Trucks
Unlike light duty box trucks, these trucks have a load capacity ranging from 15,000lbs to 33,000lbs. Also, most of them have fuel tanks ranging from 33 to 50 gallons and an mpg of 13. Some of the most common trucks in this category include Freightliner M2, GMC W4500, and the International 4300. Medium duty box trucks often have a minimum length of 18 ft. and a maximum of 26ft.
Conventional box trucks
Conventional box trucks have a unique physical appearance when compared to other types of box trucks. Their engine is placed at the front where the steering wheel sits, and this gives them a ‘nose’ which sets them apart from the rest of the fleet.
Cab Over Engine
Also abbreviated as COE, the cab over engine box trucks have the engine placed at the cab area. They do not have a protruding in front of the truck nose because the engine is placed below the seats in the cab.
Chevrolet Express Cutaway
The Chevrolet Express Cutaway trucks have notable features that include different wheelbase and engine combinations which make them unique. Most of these vans come with a 4.3L V6 standard engine but other less muscular options are also available. They have a load capacity of up to 12,300lbs and 139, 159 and 177-inch wheelbases.
Mitsubishi Fuso
Some of the most common Mitsubishi Fuso trucks today include the FG 4*4, FE 130, FE160 and FE180 models. Mitsubishi Fuso has a seating capacity of up to 7 with the crew and regular cab configurations. The smallest GVWR is 13,200lbs while the largest is 17,995lbs, with payload capacities of up to 8,055pounds.
Hino Cab-Over
Two of the most popular truck models in this category include the Hino 155 Cab-Over and the Hino 195 Cab-over. The 155 model has both single and double cab options available with up to 14,500 pounds of GVW. the truck also has a 4cylinder 5.0L engine with an HP of 210. The 195 Cab-over model, on the other hand, has a 19,500 GVW and 7 wheelbase length variations to offer.
Ford E-series Cutaway
The E-350 series and the E-450 series are some of the most typical units in this category. With a 6.8L V10 engine, the Ford E-series is one of the most powerful box trucks there are. Also, these trucks have a minimum payload of 5,190lbs with a maximum of 22,000lbs.

Find Your Vehicles
You can use various filters or speak with our expert team to search for the equipment that perfectly fits your business’s needs. Request to reserve vehicles directly from a mobile device or desktop computer.
Pick-Up
Once at the pick-up location, drivers will upload photos of the vehicle’s condition on the platform and get the keys from the vehicle’s owner to begin a rental and get on the road.
Drop-Off
To complete reservations, simply have drivers return the vehicles to their designated locations, hand off the keys, and upload some return pictures. Pay the daily rate and mileage, and you're done!
