Sleeper Cab Tractor
A sleeper cab has a resting compartment at the back of the cabin area. As a result, it is perfect for long hauls. This saves the business extra costs and helps to ensure that the cargo in transit reaches the required destination on time.
Conventional Nose
The conventional nose day cab has a longer hood than the sloped nose. This reduces visibility for the driver, making it more difficult to make turns. A major downside of the conventional nose day cab tractors is that it has a bad fuel mileage.
Sloped Nose
These day cabs have a sloped hood, which is rounder when compared to the traditional ones: it is short, which means that the tractor is longer. The sloped-nose day cab offers more cargo space without breaking any length restrictions. The short hood also means that the driver has a better view ahead, hence has more control over the cab.
Freightliner
The Freightliner has some of the best tractors on the road. Depending on the model and year of the day cab, you can always get a reliable Freightliner tractor suitable for your business. Each model comes with unique configurations with regard to the type and size of the engine, wheelbase lengths, brakes, and other specs.
Peterbilt
Peterbilt tractors are the best for carrying out different rigorous tasks without risking the safety and comfort of the driver. They are built with high-quality materials and are installed with some of the best features which is why Peterbilt is a top choice for most drivers. In addition, its fleet of tandem axle tractors is quite diverse.
Kenworth
Kenworth tractors are designed to endure rugged tasks over a long time span. This is made possible by their aluminum cab structure and some of the tasks it can be used to complete include logging, dumping, and construction, just to mention a few. Simply put, Kenworth tractors are built to suit different transportation needs.
