Single-Temperature Zone Refrigerated Trailer
As the name alludes, the single-temperature refrigerated (reefer) trailer is a refrigerated trailer that comes equipped with a cooling system that can sustain the desired temperature for long periods of time. This consistent and reliable temperature helps to keep perishable goods fresh and safe without any disruption from external weather. For maximum profitability, it’s best to fill these reefer types with the same type of cargo, or cargo that requires similar temperatures for storage.
Multiple-Temperature Zone Refrigerated Trailer
The multiple-temperature zone refrigerated (reefer) trailer option uses a more advanced refrigeration technology that cools different segments of the trailer to different temperatures. These trailers often tend to be larger and are broken up into zones through partitions that divide the separate temperature zones and allow a driver to load different types of cargo all in the same trip, increasing profitability.
Aluminum Floor Refrigerated Trailer
There are various floor options available for reefer trailers, but the refrigerated trailers that have aluminum floors are built tough to handle your cargo loading and unloading needs. Not only are they able to handle the loading process, but these floor designs are also moisture-resistant and help with the cooling process.
Great Dane
The motto of Great Dane is to be the “champions” of safely and efficiently transporting freight to its final destination. Great Dane offers some great reefer trailer options due to their partnership with utilizing high-quality refrigeration systems made by Thermo King. With their aluminum flooring, air ride suspensions, and high-quality puncture guards, you can trust the Great Dane brand when planning to transport your cargo or freight from point a to point b. Some of the models from Great Dane you may run across include the Great Dane Everest and the Great Dane Super Seal.
Manac
Manac refrigerated trailers are built rugged but also built light. These sturdy and reliable reefers are known for their industry-leading floors that have a rating to handle 20,000 lbs. of cargo capacity and provide better insulation compared to some competitors due to their “pillow seal” rear door design. These trailers are ready to keep your cargo protected from external elements, and if you’re ready to rent one with COOP, you may find models between 48 ft. to 53 ft. in length, though they do have pup versions that are shorter than these standard lengths.
Heiwo
Heiwo is a Dutch manufacturer that specializes in manufacturing refrigerated trailers and rigids. Their fleet models include the Heiwo APK 12-21 and the Heiwo HZP 22. This manufacturer has single-temperature and multi-temperature models available and can be counted on for their quality.
