Get semi trailers when and where you need them! With COOP by Ryder you can enjoy:
Single Axle Tractor
The number of drive axles on a semi-tractor determines if it is single or double. Single axle tractors are those with single drive axles on each side of the tractor. This accounts for the short wheelbase length meaning that they are easier to maneuver. Also, they have better gas mileage when compared to tractors with two or more drive axles. On the downside, they have lesser towing power.
Tandem Axle Tractor
A Tandem axle tractor, on the other hand, is a semi-tractor with two drive axles at the rear. Two drive axles add on to the stability of the semi-trailer and that is why they can haul way more freight when compared to single axle tractors, because of the increased towing capacity. Perhaps you want to expand your business and carry more loads. A tandem axle tractor would be the best option for you. On the downside, they are harder to maneuver since they have a longer wheelbase length.
Volvo
Volvo engineers have developed the Volvo baggie, which is the most potent heavy-duty vehicle for hauling loads. The truck’s powerful engine increases productivity and lets you run your operations smoothly, hence performing more assignments. For better road handling and go anywhere, the suspension set up and the steering’s dynamic feel increases control and stability for the driver when on the road.
Freightliner
The Freightliner sleeper tractor has some of the latest self-leveling headlights equipped with auto-dimming to avoid blinding other motorists, and this makes the truck safe to drive and operate in the dark. The torque and horsepower are perfect for hauling heavy loads, and they can tow heavy freights when attached with a trailer. The powerful engines have eco running modes that make them run on less fuel when cruising and with fewer emissions.
Mack
They are built for the driver. Mack commercial vehicles have everything you will need in a truck. The vehicles have parking assists that will make your work easier, especially when you want to maneuver into a tight spot for loading and offloading. The air-conditioning systems have pollen filters and an air purifier to ensure no air contaminants in the cabin.
