Removable Goosenecks (RGN)
As the name implies, this flatbed trailer has a detachable gooseneck. This gooseneck connects the platform to the cabin. Once detached, the trailer is dropped on the ground forming a ramp that allows you to drive your load onto the deck, making them functional. These trailers have multiple axles, which increases their load capacity and support, allowing them to haul extremely heavy loads. RGNs are typically long and can reach lengths of up to 29 feet, making them ideal for vehicle distributors because they can transport multiple cars at once.
Double Drops
Double drops are extremely low trailers. The due drop formed between the two axles inspired the name. They have more axles, which gives them more capacity and strength to carry out heavy hauls. These double drops form an extremely low well on the deck, allowing very tall loads of up to 14 feet high to be carried while maintaining load stability. They are appropriate for transporting heavy machinery such as excavators and harvesters, as well as other loads that exceed the standard legal height.
Extendable Stretch Trailer
Extendable flatbeds are referred to as "telescopic" because they can be stretched out to 80 feet and shrunk back down to fit the intended use, making them suitable for extremely long loads. An increased number of axles supports and stabilizes this long platform. It is simple to adjust these trailers; a tractor is used, which moves forward to extend it or backward to shrink it.
Great Dane
This brand has been in the market since 1900 and has maintained its culture of producing exceptional trailers. They provide innovative products that provide you with an exceptional experience while transporting your goods. The core values of Great Dane are safety, leadership, innovation, and quality. This brand's flatbed trailers have customizable features such as suspension packages, load securement options, and double decks. Stakes can be attached to them to secure cargo such as rails, pipes, and logs. The floor is made of aluminum, which makes it strong and long-lasting.
Scania
Scania also manufactures powerful trailers for different industry applications. This brand's flatbed trailers excel in terms of fuel efficiency and environmental sustainability. Scania offers a variety of flatbed variations, including lowboys, which are extremely low for hauling tall loads while also being easy to load. They also have a model that can be outfitted with stakes, which is suitable for logging as it is strong enough to handle the rough forest terrain.
Utility
There are several flatbed trailer models available from this manufacturer. These trailers have powerful engines that send power to the tandem axles, which improves the trailer's suspension and maneuverability. Because these flatbeds are lightweight, they are ideal for long-distance transportation. The trailers have a floor system, which is typically made of aluminum or hardwood and is capable of transporting heavyweights.
